Hello Felix, it's Alison. Sarah's trying to get a hold of you, just in case you didn't realize. Apparently she's getting that worm in her face taken care of? Do you know what she's talking about?
Well, give me a call whenever you get this message. Oh, and don't forget about our three o'clock make-up trial with the Verdehill bridal party tomorrow!
[Alison is frankly surprised at this chilly response, since she's used to Sarah and Felix being two slightly dingy birds of a feather.]
Don't be like that, Felix. I went by your apartment at least twice a day and checked in at all the hospitals. And you know Sarah was practically beside herself. You're okay, though? Did you get "sent home"?
Donnie was acting? Oh Lord, he's bad enough in charades... and, don't worry about the Verdehills. I can do make-up in a pinch, and they seemed happy enough, even if the. I'll send you the pictures later.y were disappointed that you weren't there
[There's a short pause as she decides whether to risk asking the next question, but she forges bravely ahead.]
So do you want me to tell you about Sarah or are we going to avoid talking about her altogether?
I didn't mean it like that. I know you can do make up. I'm glad you sorted it.
[He wants to avoid even answering that question really, but... he sighs tiredly.]
Can we avoid the subject of Sarah? Please. I'm assuming whatever she did didn't go too awfully since you're asking me instead of telling. Beyond that I honestly don't care.
[Which is a lie, but he wishes he didn't. They're close enough to being the same thing.]
[She makes a small clucking noise but refrains from saying anything else. Obviously whatever's happened between Sarah and Felix is bad if he's pretending that he doesn't care.]
If you're sure that's what you want. Do you have any food? Should I bring something over?
[Her voice becomes much more sympathetic after hearing that. Alison can't help feeling a little left out when it comes to Sarah and Cosima, but at least Felix is usually on her side.]
Alright, well, I'll be by in about fifteen minutes.
[True to her word, Alison arrives exactly fifteen minutes later, with a Tupperware of hamburger and potato casserole and a bottle of juice. When he opens the door, she surveys him with that critically caring look that mothers have and seems to find what she sees acceptable.]
[Felix doesn't exactly need someone to mother him, but he's used to it from Alison by now so he accepts it without protest beyond a roll of his eyes before he stands aside to let her in.]
[He trails after her, letting her do her thing. There's not much point offering to take over, though he does at least get a couple of glasses out for the juice.]
Why do you think I'm upset? [Because it's incredibly obvious, Felix.]
Maybe what's going on with me is a good thing. Did you consider that? If you must know there have actually been some pretty amazing changes in my life recently.
[He sits himself down and stabs half-heartedly at the plate with his fork. He knows Alison will be supportive. Has been supportive. It's more that this will make things very clear what's wrong between him and Sarah.]

I'm sorry. You know I wouldn't do that to you on purpose. I'm fine. I was sent home. Now I'm back. I didn't mean to worry you.
voice;
[If she's annoyed that she seems to be the furthest behind in the "timeline", she's doing a decent job of hiding it.]
voice;
[Okay, so that's a lie. He doesn't want to concern her though. It seems like he's already stressed her out enough in his absence.]
How have things been here? Please tell me I didn't lose you the Verdehills by not showing up to that make up trial.

[She immediately moves towards the kitchen, moving around she like owns the place to get his food into the microwave for reheating.]
So? Do you want to talk about it?
no subject
Talk about what?

[She at least knows better than to bring up Sarah by name.]

I met my sister. My biological sister.
no subject
You found your biological family?
[This piece of information certainly clears things up a bit.]
no subject
Her name's Adele. I really like her, Alison.
no subject
[And she is. She can imagine how much this means to Felix, to find family the way Sarah has.]
